John A. Nielesky
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Enterprise Leadership & Operational Impact
Before founding Janac Inc., John spent more than two decades in senior leadership roles at Universal Studios Hollywood, ultimately serving as Vice President of Technical Services, overseeing Engineering, Operations, and Environmental Health & Safety. He managed P\&L-driven operations, significant capital and maintenance budgets, and multidisciplinary teams within one of the industry’s most complex regulatory environments.
During his tenure, John led organization-wide initiatives that delivered measurable improvements in safety, compliance, and operational performance, including the development of capital, preventative maintenance, and safety programs, implementation of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), establishment of formal engineering programs, and deployment of enterprise-wide safety initiatives. These efforts resulted in substantial reductions in risk-related costs, improved efficiency, and industry-leading EHS performance.
Following Universal Studios Hollywood, John served as Director of Ride Maintenance at Knott’s Berry Farm, providing senior technical leadership across attractions and facilities. He worked closely with manufacturers, engineers, and consultants to implement engineering improvements, modernize maintenance practices, and strengthen regulatory compliance.
